James Urquhart

Consultant

James is a graduate of the University of St Andrews with a Masters in Pure Mathematics (Honours). During his time at university, he was President of the Entrepreneurs and Venture Capital Society, Head of the Consumer Goods and Services sector in the Investment Society, and co-founded the Scottish Entrepreneurs Network. During this time, he also worked for two venture capital funds working on investment analysis and supporting portfolio businesses.

At Glic, James focuses on client projects and specialises in the development of tools and methods for conducting economic and social impact analysis.

Outside of work, James is an avid pianist and is interested in national and international politics.
