Investment and Funding

Executing new project ideas is difficult when there is a lack of financial resources, and securing funding can be time consuming and often unsuccessful. Glic has practical experience of raising significant funds from the private, philanthropic and public sectors to support projects and activities to advance.

We can prepare compelling cases for investment and support organisations to write funding applications, develop larger funding strategies, and report on activity.

To produce a funding strategy, we spend time getting to know the organisation and project, enabling us to match the client with funding opportunities that correspond to their values and the project’s objectives. We seek to understand what the project looks to deliver and make sure that these align with the strategic aims of potential investors.

Reporting on fund use can often be a time-consuming and complex process, but one that is required in order to gain investment from private, public, and philanthropic grants. We can take on that responsibility, working with you from start to finish – from fund application to reporting – or jumping in at that final stage of the process.

Conversely, we can help organisations to create funds and develop funding schemes. In the past, we’ve worked with organisations in the public and private sectors to distribute small and large funds, taking on its management and associated administration.

If your organisation has excess money or a cause you’d like to support, we can develop the mechanisms, decision-making processes and governance structures needed to take a fund to its recipients.
